Rogers Experimental House, 121 W Walnut Street, Rogers, AR, will highlight The 1619 Project and art related to Black History Month during Art on the Bricks Art Walk on Thursday, February 13th, 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. Curated by Artist Kinya Christian, this exhibit highlights emerging artists including: Visual arts, music, dance and theatrical readings.

“The 1619 Project The 1619 Project is an ongoing initiative from The New York Times Magazine that began in August 2019, the 400th anniversary of the beginning of American slavery. It aims to reframe the country’s history by placing the consequences of slavery and the contributions of black Americans at the very center of our national narrative.”

The public is invited to experience this opportunity to connect with The 1619 project in NW Arkansas. Make #ArtOnTheBricksArtWalk a meaningful opportunity to connect with people throughout our community.
