The City of Springdale held two recent events that are part of the city's plan to be welcoming for all.
On November 28, the city hosted the Human Rights Campaign of Arkansas for training on how to make cities safer for LGBTQ citizens. Mayor Doug Sprouse, the police department and additional city staff and community leaders were present. Thank you to the city for hosting this very informative training, and to the Human Rights Campaign who traveled from Little Rock to lead the training!
On November 21, Mayor Sprouse and the City of Springdale partnered with the Arkansas Coalition of Marshallese and the Republic of the Marshall Islands Consul General Eldon Alik for a meal and fellowship. Click here to see photos from the event.
